Early Childhood Mental Health Services
Our young children’s healthy social and emotional development is critical to school readiness and future success in their lives. Pipeline’s Early Childhood Mental Health Program addresses the concerns of children zero to 6 years of age. Although most children progress in their development without any significant challenges, the high rates of pre-school expulsion due to challenging behaviors is a growing concern. We partner with caregivers and families offering parenting skills and support programs that not only address the child’s oppositional behaviors but also support the caregiver. We work with the medical community, the school to offer a “continuity of care.” The treatment protocols for very young children under the umbrella of ECMH Services include Infant Massage, Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR – For Children), Trauma-Focused Play Therapy, The “Flip-It” Program, and C.A.R.E. (Child Adult Relationship Enhancement) Program.
Family Services
Pipeline specializes in working with at-risk children and families addressing domestic violence, trauma-related to violence, abuse, and grief. We work diligently to assist in preserving the family dynamic. It is a challenging task when families experience parent-child conflicts; post-traumatic stress and complex developmental trauma. Our Intensive Home-Based Treatment Program is designed to address the needs of the entire family as well as the conflict among family members. Our team of clinicians work diligently with evidenced-based interventions to keep families together.
Mental Health Counseling and Treatment Services
Pipeline offers a full range of services for emotionally and behaviorally challenged children, adolescents, adults and families using evidenced-based, evidenced-informed and faith-based treatment protocols. We work with at-risk families addressing abuse and grief-related trauma and post-traumatic stress (PTSD). We focus on Family Domestic Violence and family re-unification, using Intensive Home-based treatment therapies. We start with the very young children in our Early Childhood Mental Health Program and move into special programs for school-age to teen-age youth. Our young adult clients have a particular set of concerns, as do our couples who participate in the relationship and marriage counseling sessions. We have programming for our senior citizen population as well.
We offer a comprehensive range of services starting from our Intake and Assessment process to individual and group counseling; case management, and school-based services. Our focus is on prevention and early intervention in many of the protocols we support.
Pipeline is a diverse, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive agency that strives to instill in our clients and staff a sense of optimism, dignity and hope as we “grow-through” the challenges of everyday living.

Some of those issues include depression, anxiety, aggression toward others, bullying, thoughts of self injury or harm.
Pipeline’s Psychiatry and Rehabilitative Services Prevention Program features both short and long-term change that families can maintain with sustainable treatment results. We offer a combination of services may be provided to the youth and family including:
- Group and Family Prevention & Interventions
- Individual sessions with youth and/or parents
- Crises Prevention & Intervention
- Consultation with schools
- Coordination of activities with school systems, health care agencies, juvenile justice systems and other social service agencies
School-Based Prevention and Mental Health Services
Pipeline’s School-based prevention programs aim to increase children’s academic success and reduce high-risk problem behaviors. Pipeline uses an integrated approach to delivering school-based services with evidenced-based programs that can positively impact a range of social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes. We work with students to identify self-esteem concerns, bullying issues; Pipeline’s All-Girl Prevention Program challenges students with the very issues that are triggers to anxiety, depression and suicide. And early intervention with students challenged with substance concerns and peer pressure can impact the use of tobacco, alcohol, marijuana and other drugs. In some cases, it can even offer improvements in academic outcomes. In circumstances where a student require more intensive support, Pipeline will provide school-based mental and behavioral health services.
Substance Abuse Prevention Programs
Alcohol and drug addition affect the whole family. Prevention strategies can reduce the impact of substance use and mental disorders in our communities. Early intervention is the key for Pipeline. There is a great opportunity to challenge, prevent, or at least diminish our children’s use of a variety of substances, including alcohol, tobacco, cocaine and marijuana. It takes work, But we believe that a significant difference can be made, whether we are offering school-based or working with individuals, teens and families. We use evidenced-based programs, rather than relying on guesswork. Prevention activities work to educate and support individuals and communities to prevent the use and misuse of drugs.
